Our faux leather vinyl pillows are surface washable, which makes it the most sanitary pillow on the market!  These can even be wiped down with Sani-Wipes - what the hospitals use to sanitize the patients' rooms.  That is the reason why we are making these faux leather pillows.  They need to be able to be wiped down repeatedly.  These can be and you can even take off the outer pillow cover with the hidden zipper opening if need be.   The zipper is hidden so that the cloth on the zipper is not even visible - this way bacteria will not get on it should it be dropped on the floor.  That always happens - in hospitals or in the home.
